16,000 student journeys across silos
Kristiania had more than 16,000 students, around 800 employees, and educational programmes in Oslo, Bergen, and online. Different departments handled separate parts of the student journey, while insights were, among other things, manually organised in spreadsheets.
The ambition was to break down silos and give employees a more holistic and coherent view of their interactions with applicants, students, and alumni.
A shared platform for student engagement
Kristiania chose Microsoft Dynamics and ProsessPilotene to establish a customized CRM platform. The solution covers much of the student journey, from marketing activities and the application process to the study period and follow-up with alumni.
The Marketing module in Dynamics CE has made it possible to automate processes and use data more systematically in marketing and communications. The shared platform supports collaboration across departments.
Better overview and greater flexibility
Automated processes and more valuable data provide Kristiania with a stronger basis for analysis, forecasting, and more precise communication. At the same time, the project has required change management, skills development, and the involvement of employees at multiple levels.
“Our new CRM system has played a major role in opening up the back end, giving those who work with the student journey a much better overview of the big picture than they had before,” says Audun Giske, Director of IT and Digitalisation at Kristiania.
