What is Power Automate?
Power Automate runs tasks automatically when something happens: an email arrives, a record changes, or the clock strikes seven. It can retrieve data from one system and enter it into another, request approval, or notify someone.
Not in the most annoying task, but in the one performed most often. Saving five minutes twenty times a day is worth more than saving an hour every quarter — and it is also easier to measure whether it works.
Automating a bad process results in a bad process that runs faster. Fix the sequence first, then automate. We often find that the clean-up itself solves the problem without any need for automation.
A flow built on a personal account stops working the day that person leaves, and no one knows why something suddenly fails to happen. Use a shared account for anything in production.
