The course programme
The announced two-day course at Microsoft in Oslo targeted people already working with customer journeys. The programme focused on data modelling, real-time journeys and practical exercises based on the organisation’s own challenges.
What this means for the organisation
The superuser role combines configuration and stewardship. The organisation needs to explain its data model, consent basis and the rules that trigger communication. Hands-on work with its own scenarios can reveal whether those foundations are clear.
The two-day course on 1–2 September was limited to participants already familiar with Customer Insights. Using their own Dynamics account and data was intended to make modelling and real-time journeys concrete. The programme records a need for superusers who connect segments and triggers to data, consent and ongoing administration.
Microsoft’s 1 September 2023 announcement records the combination of customer data platform and journey orchestration in Customer Insights – Data and Journeys. It explains the product structure before the later events. The ProsessPilotene source shows a particular course, conversation or demo; Microsoft describes the broader offer and timing.
A relevant trial should begin with one segment or journey and document data sources, matching rules, consent and triggers. Misidentification, unwanted frequency and missing coverage need to be included in review. Only then can the organisation assess whether faster activation also produces more accurate and understandable customer treatment.
