Microsoft Power Platform is Microsoft’s low-code platform for building apps, automating workflows, analyzing data, and creating AI agents—without the need for a large development environment. The tools share the same data foundation in Microsoft Dataverse, the same connectors, and the same security model, and are closely integrated with Microsoft 365 and Dynamics 365.

What does Power Platform consist of?

The strength lies in the combination. An app built in Power Apps can trigger a flow in Power Automate, display a report from Power BI, and let the user ask an agent created in Copilot Studio—all using the same data and the same access controls. This allows a small solution to grow without having to be rebuilt from scratch.
