About the delivery
ProsessPilotene delivered a tenant-to-tenant migration for Kongsberg Norcontrol AS (2026).
Migration in connection with the “Copenhagen” project.
SharePoint - super easy to change; someone else handled the migration. All we had to do was replace the “SharePoint Site” records, and then all the document location records automatically fell into place.
Portal: Reprovisioned in the target tenant. All configuration/portal content is data that is transferred.
Replacement of authentication due to the transition from AAD B2C to Entra ID. This required some work in Entra as well as configuration related to authentication (settings files) in CRM.
Had to adjust the connectors in flows due to deprecated email connectors. Replaced them with Dataverse email to use the same connector as elsewhere.
To avoid downtime, a copy of the production environment is made, and the production environment remains operational while work is carried out on the copy. The tenant transfer is performed on the copy.
In connection with the project, it was difficult to verify whether things were completed (and working) due to a lack of test cases prior to the project. These were created for this purpose for customer support, which worked well, while insufficient work had been done for sales. It was therefore also difficult to determine whether something was completed/ready or not. This makes formal sign-off more difficult.
Otherwise, a lot of time was spent dealing with cumbersome automation that ran at different times and so on. Better documentation was needed on what triggered and ran, and where. This applies to plugins, Power Automate, workflows (legacy), and similar solutions.
It was very important to have good counterparts working on the customer side who could handle things that we did not have access to ourselves. These were primarily IT resources who knew how to navigate the customer’s organization.
We had very clear parameters and conditions to work within, which otherwise set the ground rules.

The company can continue working with the same CRM, configuration, data, and more, without having to set up the solution again.
