Overview
Sanity is a headless CMS where content is stored as structured data rather than finished pages. This means that the same text, image, and product description can be used on the website, in the app, and in AI solutions—without having to enter it again.
Why structured content?
In a traditional CMS, content is locked to the page it was created for. When content is instead stored as data, it can be assembled in new ways as needs change—and reused in channels that did not exist when the content was written.
An editorial tool that fits the workflow
Sanity Studio is configured in code. This means that the fields, validation, and workflow can be tailored to how you actually work, rather than requiring you to adapt to the tool.
Norwegian provider
Sanity was developed by a Norwegian company headquartered in Oslo and is used by both Norwegian and international organizations. This website itself runs on Sanity.
