A marketing leader balances ongoing delivery with improvement. Use this routine to select next month's activities and agree priorities with sales and service.
Collect proposals in one overview. Require an audience, need, intended effect and available evidence before discussing channels. Consider the consequence of doing nothing. An internal request is input, not automatically the highest priority.
Select three initiatives and briefly justify their order. Make deferred work visible.
Include content production, expert approval, campaign setup and response handling. Limit simultaneous delivery so the team can test and follow through. Expose dependencies before promising dates.
Practice case: Four campaigns require eight production days each, but the team has 20 days. Choose two complete deliveries and use four days for preparation or buffer; do not treat 32 planned days as 20.
Agree who owns the message, audience, communication rules and activation. Establish a decision gate backed by recorded tests. Give people clear authority within these boundaries and a short route for clarification.
Use a simple activation decision: approved / correction required / postponed, with reason, owner and date. Silence does not mean approval.
Agree response quality, required context and capacity with the sales leader. Review a sample of handovers to find where information or ownership was lost. Improve the working agreement rather than assigning blame.
Use one response as an example. Both teams should be able to name the current customer owner and the next step the customer expects.
Review effort, results and learning across initiatives. Avoid comparing raw lead counts from unlike audiences. End initiatives without sufficient value and make room for an evidenced improvement.
Close the monthly review with one initiative to continue, one to change and one to stop or postpone. Explain the decisions and agree when to review them.
The working routines and fictional examples above are ProsessPilotene learning material. Use the official product documentation below for product context; availability depends on your organisation's setup.
