Why aren't my changes showing after publishing?

You have changed a form or a view, but nothing happens. Three explanations cover almost all cases.

The change has not been published

Many customizations must be explicitly published before they take effect for users. Saved is not the same as published — that is the most common cause.

You’re seeing a cached version

The browser may be holding on to an earlier version. Perform a hard refresh, or try opening the page in a private window. Also ask users to do the same before concluding that something is wrong.

You’re in the wrong environment

The change was made in the test environment, but you’re looking at production—or vice versa. Check the address. This is an easy mistake to make when you have both open in separate tabs.

The change does not apply to the role you are testing with

Forms can be role-specific. If you still see the old form, it may be because your role has been assigned a different form from the one you changed.
