What is a sales sequence?
A sequence describes what should happen: call, wait two days, send an email, then call again. The system shows the salesperson the next step at the right time.
Follow-up is consistent regardless of who handles it, and new salespeople get up to speed faster. Most importantly, you can see at which stage people drop off and take action to address it.
For a large number of similar inquiries where the process repeats itself. For a small number of large agreements negotiated over several months, a sequence offers little value.
You need to agree on what good follow-up looks like before you can build it into the sequence. That discussion is often more valuable than the sequence itself.
